As a senior-level marketing executive I am responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization’s marketing and advertising initiatives. The primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Budget Administration & Forecasting – Plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance to organizational goals.
  • Portfolio Management – Recommend and implement product portfolio to optimize sales and profitability.
  • New Product Development – Support new product development efforts and promote new product launches.
  • Market Research – Design, collect, process and interpret market research data to drive marketing strategy and new product recommendations.
  • Metrics Analysis – Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction and renewal rates.
  • Drive Insight – Leverage data and analytics to help modify or redirect business intelligence strategy.
  • Marketing Execution – Maintain the structure and enhancements to the CRM and other systems.
  • Lead Management – Develop and maintain lead generation programs, including dealer and customer databases.
  • Brand Management – Champion brands and uphold branding standards.
  • Event Planning – Manage trade show strategy and execution.

Sales

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales Prospecting – Compile and maintain lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. Network, cold-call, participate in industry trade shows and travel as needed throughout targeted sales territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit business and to explain features of organization’s services and products, their cost, and their benefits. Regularly monitor customer accounts to develop leads for additional services and product offerings. Maintain and expand customer base by identifying and creating sales opportunities.
  • Sales Presentation and Demonstration – Utilize PowerPoint sales presentations for use in introducing and highlighting the exceptional features of organization’s products and services to prospects and current clients. Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of all products available from the organization.
  • Quoting Customers – Prepare cost analyses, and quotes. Generate price quotes for customers and ensures the order process is smoothly transitioned to account manager/executive. Develop bid responses that are complete, accurate and profitable.
  • Closing Sales – Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects throughout the sales process; eliminate any obstacles to closing the sale; continue to develop a business relationship with the customer/prospect.
  • Maintaining the Relationship – Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure an on-going business relationship and account retention; address all issues and concerns of the customer in a timely and effective manner; and identify additional sales opportunities with customers.
  • Reporting – Prepare salesreports; track all sales leads and contacts; provide internal communications, as needed on customer status and opportunities. Maintain complete records of client action in Customer Relationship Management, CRM database.  Generate forecasts and sales progress reports for senior management.

  • Business Acumen – Understand business implications of decisions; demonstrates knowledge of market, products and competition.  Have thorough understanding of costing, pricing, and gross profit margins. Follow policies and procedures; Complete administrative tasks correctly and on time; and Support organization’s goals and values.
  • Planning/Organizing – Prioritize and plans work activities efficiently. Meets deadlines and complete requested reports, proposals, sales meetings and related business activities accurately and within deadlines.

Especially skilled at strategic planning, budget controls and problem resolution.
